Backend development
Python
Python is one of the world's leading programming languages, having gathered a substantial amount of users and prestige throughout the years. It has been widely used for big projects at Google, such as YouTube, and is also highly regarded in academic and scientific circles. Its library of first and third party components provides an enormous wealth of options for web development, with noteworthy frameworks including Django.
Woost, the open source CMS developed by Whads, is developed in Python.
PHP
PHP is the world's most popular language for web development. It is the programming language underlying the leading open source CMS solutions (such as Wordpress and Drupal), which we have used to develop an important amount of our projects. It also provides several web frameworks of note, including Laravel, CakePHP or CodeIgniter.
NodeJS
NodeJS is a web platform for backend development in JavaScript that has built a lot of momentum in recent years. It is specially suited to developing solutions requiring high availability and concurrency, such as messaging, online games, etc.
